The dog
skin & coat care tips for winter.
In cooler seasons, the temperature drops, there's wind, indoor heating and snow. These often lead to alteration of the skin barrier, which becomes more fragile and can lose its protective function. As a result, feelings of itchiness and discomfort, areas of dryness or even irritation may appear.
TIP #1 : DON'T SKIP REPLENISHMENT DAY
Colder climates can cause a dog's skin to dry, leading to itching, discomfort and vulnerability to flare-ups. In addition, longer coats often struggle to keep tidy and tangle-free. So if you haven't already, adding one of our products from the replenishing range is vital.

TIP #3: ALWAYS DRY WELL
Want to know how to reduce paw licking/chewing, odour problems and itching? Leaving dogs wet can be part of the equation. Trapped moisture is uncomfortable, leading to excessive licking, chewing and scratching. It also creates an unpleasant odour. Letting them dry off in the sun is a common mistake, especially for thick or long coats, skin folds, paws and ears.
