If your dog has a sensitive gut, ongoing skin concerns, or follows a restricted diet, finding treats they can safely enjoy isn’t always easy. These cookies are designed to be gentle, nourishing, and simple to make - using ingredients you may already have at home. A small Valentine’s gesture, made with care and shared with love.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 banana
  • ¼ cup blueberries
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Optional (dogs only):

  • 1 tsp fish oil or your dog’s usual probiotic (If you add fish oil or probiotics, the cookies become suitable for dogs only)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
  • Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  • Scoop out the mixture and roll into golf ball-sized portions.
  • Flatten gently - or roll out and use heart-shaped cookie cutters for a Valentine’s Day finish.
  • Bake until lightly golden.
  • Allow to cool completely before serving.

Storage & Serving

  • Makes approximately 12 cookies
  • Store in the fridge for up to 7 days or freeze for up to 1 month
  • Serve in moderation as part of a balanced diet.
